5 Alarm Fire... or at Least a Smoke Screen

Ken and I have been making arrangements to have the old Rogers' farm house donated to the local fire department for practice burns. In fact, Ken was supposed to call the chief tomorrow to see where paperwork was. Well, tonight I heard large trucks rumbling down the road, so I look out (remember traffic is entertainment here in farmland) and see FIRE TRUCKS pulling into the farm house driveway!!!!!!! I of course immediately start walking down to see what's up, and greet the firemen. They tell me that they are doing their search and rescue exercises tonight. FUN! The lighting outside was horrid, so i have no idea if these pix will do any justice to it... but hey, here's to sharing in our BIG EXCITEMENT!
