French Fries and Pizza

I took the kids out skiing again. This time we went the same night as the school's ski club. It was fun to see other friends and teachers on the slopes! The kids did a fantastic job making "pizzas"and "french fries" as they skied. Lucy got tired after a few runs, so she busied herself by watching Mrs. Shermak or running away from Mommy. The boys cruised for a few more runs before we left.

One of the recent favorite activities has been coloring pages on special paper. When hung on windows, it looks like stained glass. Today's ice day let us have lots of coloring time.

Skiing Once, Skiing Twice (Skiing Chicken Soup with Rice)

The kids were gifted their very own skis for Christmas and were itching to try them out. Unfortunately germs and holiday schedules meant some waiting before that could happen. They settled for trying them out on our hill before we went back to school on the 2nd. More germs (and several bowls of chicken soup) later, we were finally able to head out to Caberfae. The kids and I braved a few introductory runs after school Monday, then we wet and had dinner at Daddy's restaurant.
