Probably Picasso

Mesick's fine young artists have been creating, and our new art teacher Mrs. Mills has been putting in extra hours in preparation for the big event. Tonight we went to the Gallery Opening (aka, art show in the gym). Lucy, Owen, and Mitchell all had two pieces on display.

Mrs. Mills and 2 of her budding artists.

A doughnut with sprinkles!  YUM!

Owen and his bee.

The aliens are coming!

Houston, We Have Lift-Off

Sunday, April 18th will go down in Rogers Family history as the date training wheels died. Lucy became an independent biker! With some quality coaching from big brother Mitchell, she was making her way back and forth and around the driveway in no time. Even her first wipe-out couldn't keep her down; she got right back to the pedaling.

M-I-C, K-E-Y, M-O-U-S-E

Crowded.  Unbelievably crowded is the only way to describe the adventure that was Magic Kingdom.  That being said, we did have some fun while we were there. The boys rode on Space Mountain with Dad for the first time.  Lucy got special time with the princesses.  We all caught a nice parade.

Hoop Dee Doo

In the many trips to Disney that the Baleikos made over the years, there were also many trips to the Hoop Dee Doo Review in Fort Wilderness.  This year was the first time we took the next generation of travelers to the musical fun.  It was a huge hit!
The waiting.

The eating.

The posing.

The show!

The dessert!

Family Fun with Friedmans

Cousin Kris and her clan came up from the Keys to vacay with us in Orlando.  The 5 kids had a GREAT time playing together.   The Marriott Recreational Planners did a top notch job lining up activities to keep the kiddos moving, but sometimes they needed no help at all.

Easter boasted a magic show along with the egg hunts.

There were foosball games...

and hula-hooping...

and putt-putt golfing...

and of course the pool.

Sometimes the adults were frazzled...

but mostly they were happy.
