So long summer!

We have enjoyed a fabulous summer, and as always it has come to a close far too quickly. Mommy went back to work this past Monday... preceded by Owen becoming ill late Sunday night. That persisted through the week. Thankfully, Papa Frank and Grammy picked up some massive child duty. He is still not eating all that well, but the fever has been gone over 24 hours, so that is progress.

Mitchell had his Preschool orientation Wednesday afternoon. He anxiously awaits returning to school on Tuesday morning, just like Mommy.

On the baby front, Lucy continues to grow and give Mommy kicks.... especially when Daddy is around. She has not liked the return to work, especially the hard plastic school chairs that Mommy often has to sit in while at work and in meetings. We saw the doctor tonight and all is well... C-Section scheduled for 7:15 am on October 8th. Whether or not she agrees with that time line or not is yet to be determined.

Here are some recent shots.... The first is Daddy with both "sleep buttons". At night before we tuck the kids in for bed, we sit and watch a few minutes of one of their movies... Daddy loves it when they sit close, because it is apparently the right sedative after a long day at work. Often Daddy winds up asleep ~long~ before the boys.

The next one is of Owen trying on Mitchell's Mater costume...the boys definitely enjoy playing around bumping into each other. Or tackling each other...










This last picture of Mitchell was taken by Uncle Matt while he and Aunt Ruth were visiting in August. And thanks to Uncle Matt, we now have a game with his name on it that the boys just love to play.
