Today was a big day in Owen's young life--He had his first haircut! Those long blond locks, while thin, were getting much too long for his liking (especially with the recent hot sweaty days). So off we went to the "haircut store" (as Mitchell calls it), and offed with the curls. Both boys got all trimmed up for the upcoming fall. Mitchell is an old pro at getting his ears lowered, and Owen did a fine job with his first attempt. Yay! They are looking very dapper!

And on another note, Owen went back for a checkup with the eye-doctor today and he seems to be making good progress with his glasses. Because we caught it early (thanks for the prompting Jackie!), the chances of him needing surgery to correct it are very slim. YAY!
