The Gaskin Gardens

We went to my friend Jyl's house the other day to pick up our Replacement Chicks.  Jyl is a wildlife rehabilitator, and in her beautiful backyard garden she has all sorts of creatures.  The kids were in awe.  We held a porcupine, listened to eggs chirp, and chased geese. It was lovely.  Owen cited the visit as the best part of his day (that's saying something, because it's been Harry Potter time as his fave for the last 6 months).
