A Year in Numbers

To truly embrace my inner-nerdiness, I took the time to look back at the 2011 year and try to capture the many things that happened (most of them good).  While it is not an all-inclusive list, it is kind of fun to see.
  • 1 Preschooler, 1 1st grader, 1 3rd Grader, 1 Chef Mickey breakfast, 1 day tubing with friends, 1 Dierks Bentley Concert, 1 Cubs game, 1 Bears game, 1 Pink Party, 1 Tractor Party, 1 3rd grader who made the all -A honor roll, 1 sneaky husband, mother, and sister giving 1 pair of new skis to K8
  • 2 holiday concerts, 2 showcases, 2 lost teeth for Owen, 2 pairs of new skis for Ken, Ken's 2nd year of being superintendent of the golf course
  • 3 days with Keys Cousins in Florida, 3 pints of K8's blood donated, 3 bellydance performances, 3 ER visits (1 for Owen, 1 for Mitchell, 1 for Denny), 3 days skiing in the U.P. for Ken,  and 3 days of the 3 Baleiko Babes in San Francisco.
  • 4 years of Lucy, 4 OaMM cooking days
  • 5 Harry Potter books read by Mitchell,  5 Nerf darts that have been stuck on the ceiling all year
  • 6 years of Owen, 6 chickens (and their 1 very fancy Chicken Condo)
  • 7 Saturdays of soccer
  • 9 years of Mitchell
  • 10 years completed teaching at Mesick
  • 11 years of marriage for Ken and K8
  • 13 puppies on Owen's bed
  • 15+ years of Charlie came to an end
  • 16 swimming lessons
  • 19 T-ball/baseball games
  • 21 stuffed monkeys in Lucy's room
  • 23.84 hours on a treadmill (or 1,430 minutes, 30 seconds)
  • 32 PT sessions for K8's shoulder
  • 34 years of K8
  • 36 years of Ken
  • 105.5 hours of bellydancing
  • 133 days in a row of logging exercise
  • 312 workouts logged

It was an impressive year.  With any luck, 2012 will bring more of the same.
