Yesterday our friends Ben and Megan invited us out for a boat ride with them. It was a fabulous way to spend the afternoon especially in this hot weather. The kids came with us and they were introduced to tubing. Mitchell jumped at the chance and took the first spin on the tube. He did super, and even made the proper signal to Ben to speed up. While you can't see it here, his grin went ear to ear; I didn't know if we'd ever be able to peel it off his face. :)
Owen wasn't so sure about this tubing thing yet, so Lucy and Dad gave it a try. Whoo! She giggled the whole time.
Mitchell had a few spins around the lake, and we all went for swims in between tubing runs. When it came to coming through the canal again, Owen thought he could take a turn with Mitchell. It turned out to be an excellent way to give Owen his first turn.
