This morning the 2nd Graders had their award ceremony at school. Grammy B and I both were lucky enough to catch the action. Mitchell earned Academic Honors. And in the final Bulldog Buck drawing of the year he won a FREE ice cream cone!!!!! He was excited for sure.

This evening he also had his first ball game of the season. This is his first year playing coach-pitch ball and he's doing pretty well so far. He's liking it, and that is the best part. He didn't get any hits tonight, but he was happy to play catcher and get in the outfield a bit. Now that season has started we will be at ball games 4 nights a week through the end of June, so watch for MANY more pictures and posts on this topic. :)
