My dear friend Abby lives in TC and was shopping at the fabric store prepping for a project for her kids' school when something very interesting happened. This is how she tells it:
"I was shopping met a woman in JoAnn Fabrics who is the answer to my poodle skirt prayers; turns out she was my friend, Kate's, 3rd grade teacher. When I mentioned that I know Kate from dance, she replied, "Oh! You're THAT Abby! I know you from Facebook!" Life lesson: Bling gets you noticed."
So true Abby! So true! And now I get the fun part--transporting said Poodle Skirts to my dancing, dart-throwing friend!
