Sadly, this is only a portion of her Monkey entourage...The first few weeks of January brought illness to the Rogers' household (just in time for the return to school). Lucy and Owen came down with the stomach flu on Saturday, January 3rd... Mitchell on Sunday...Ken on Monday.... So, instead of returning to work on January 5th, I stayed home with sick kiddos. While the boys (including Ken) recovered quickly, Lucy only got better this week. It was definitely a long haul for her. I haven't posted in a while, so here is a quick run-down of events:
- Mitchell lost another tooth this morning!!!! The tooth fairy must really like his, because she keeps taking more and not giving any new ones back!
- A snowmobile burst into flames on the road right in front of the driveway a week or so ago. The firetruck was there and everything. Very interesting. There is a nice big, black, char mark on the snow on the other side of the road.
- Lucy is talking a lot! She is very expressive (no shocker there). She says "num num" for any food item and is also starting to sign for food. Most recently, she says "na" for no, while shaking her head and smiling.
- Ken has a birthday Saturday. YAY! Owen says he has to open all of the presents for Daddy.
- The propane tank at school is having issues currently... maybe is on fire? I am sure there is more news there.
