Arg! August already!!!!!!
As our summer days are slipping though our fingers, we are still having lots of fun together.

We just took the boys back-to-school shopping the other day and they have practically been living in their new backpacks. They wear them almost all day long. Mitchell is excited the most for his new lunch bag. He is now playing "Kindergarten" at home around the clock. When he isn't playing school, he is usually building with Legos.

Owen likes playing "Preschool" and is anxiously awaiting his first day at school too. He is progressing with potty training quite a bit (it isn't required at his preschool, but we'd like to have him as far along as we can). Here he is modeling his underwear.
Lucy is keeping us very busy with her increasing mobility. She still prefers commando, but does crawl on her knees for short stretches, and has recently begun pulling herself up to a kneel or stand. When transitioning from crawling to sitting, she dabbles in a bear stance (feet and hands touch, no knees). She is also waving hello and goodbye now, too!

We had a lovely play date with a friend of mine and her 3 kids earlier today. She managed to get some pretty great pictures of the kids in action so I should have those up soon too.
