Rub a Dub Dub!

 

We received the kiddos new swimsuits in the mail the other day and Lucy just HAD to try it out!  Seeing that our Floridian vacation is still over a month away, we had to settle for the bathtub.  :)

Snowy Additions

We made a friend for our snowman... and gave him a touch up (he now has a nose).

Here are the two pals, standing guard outside the snow-cave.

Snowman #2

More outside fun was had today.  The temps were wonderful so we spent quite a while frolicking in the wintery ground cover.  Sledding was fun, but Lucy had trouble walking back up the hill as the snow was up to her waist in spots.  We slid down snowbanks, they went snow-biking in the driveway, and of course we had to build another snowman.  :)

Snow Much Fun

Many inches of freshly fallen snow has made for a beautiful white blanket on the ground outside.  It has also yielded snow piles that could be described as gargantuan.  Mitchell started to dig out one of the piles, but Dad decided he needed to give some expert advice on the project...  and meanwhile, we all played around in the snow while Daddy was having fun.

Shake Your Booty!

Tonight we cleared off the carpet upstairs and set up our dance studio again.  This time, I pulled out my hip scarves when my belly dance music came on--boy did the kiddos like that!  They made conga lines, twirled, jumped, and shook themselves just as much as they could manage to get those coins to make noise.  Lucy kept singing, "Shake your booty!  Shake your booty!"  It was a ball.  And, as an added bonus, I have these fabulous photos that not only make me smile now, but they will make me smile all the wider when I get to show them to their dates.
