Go Cubs, Go!

Being in Arizona this time of year means 1 thing: the Cubs are at Sloan Park!  Ruth flew in and joined us for one of the last Spring Training games of the year.  While the Cubs did not have a great day, it was a great experience for our kids to see them in action.

Lucy found the 1 monkey in the whole place... and named him Rizzo.

Playground=Ninja Warrior Training Grounds

Aunt Amy and I took the kids to the playground nearby;  this was the one that Ruth and I used to walk to when we were visiting as kids.  This is also the playground where Ruthie and I encountered a bully that required some "intervention."  Back in the day, that consisted of running back to Grandma and Grandpa's house to get Aunt Amy.  The then returned to the playground with us, and I imagine it looked something like this:

The actual playground has recently received a major overhaul.  Our kids found it to be the perfect spot to train for Ninja Warrior courses.
