I got to spend the day with Lucy and her classmates yesterday as the ventured out on their end-of-the-year field trip. First stop: The Great Lakes Children's Museum. This was excellent. Lucy enjoyed the water table, the puppets, art, and the slide. She also ran through the "rain". The staff gave a presentation on the water cycle and lots of fun activities happened there, too.
After the museum we headed across the street to a playground where we ate and...PLAYED!
Once we got our wiggles out, we headed to the final stop of the day: MOOMERS! We had the tour of the farm and milking barn; we even got to give a bottle to a calf. And of course we had a turn learning how the ice cream is made, a tour of the freezers, and a taste of the ice cream. YUMMO!
