The Fourth of July was full of fun as usual, but we found it in unusual places. This year we went to my friend Jyl's. We had so much fun chasing animals, throwing water balloons, using the slip and slide, and using squirt guns. The kids got their faces painted (in Lucy's case, her arm) and I got henna.

After tons of fun, we headed home and stayed up to watch the fireworks in the bug free comfort of our house. Then we all collapsed into bed.
