Lucky 7

Owen celebrated his 7th birthday with a dog party, complete with a cake shaped like a dog bone.  His best buds from school came over and there was much fun to be had. Gifts featured (among other things) dog books, stuffed dogs, dog puzzles, games, and remote controlled goodness.

Riley isn't so sure what to make of this helicopter...

We were blessed with amazing weather, so cake, ice cream, and presents were sandwiched by outside playtime.  Owen repeatedly said "this was the best birthday ever!"
