PINK!

While we are a few days early, today we celebrated Lucy's 4th birthday with family and friends.  This year she decided that she should have a Pink Party, and EVERYONE (even me) had to wear pink to get in.   She has been counting down the moments until today when the first guests rolled in.  Then a pink princess pumpkin was placed on the table.  Presents were plentiful, and very, very pink.  The cupcakes, too, were plentiful, and very, very pink.  They were also monkeys.
Waiting for the fun to begin!

Yay!  Polly Pockets!
A monkey mask for our monkey girl!

This year's big milestone gift: the booster seat for the car.  No more 5 point harness for her!  She has been waiting for this.  We "had" to take it out to my car tonight.  Then when I was tucking her in she was asking where we could go tomorrow, so she could use her new seat.

After the presents and pink cupcakes, we had some playtime with friends.  The new Polly Pockets were busted out of the wrappers, princess costumes were tried on, and lots of fun was had by all.

All in all, it was a perfectly pink day!
