Banner Days for the Rogers Boys

Friday was just an amazing day all the way around (and it all started with blueberry pancakes for breakfast). The temps finally came up from the sub-arctic levels AND we saw sunshine! At school there was an assembly where this group of gymnasts performed some pretty amazing stunts. They were stacked 5 people high at times, standing on each other. Some of them were able to touch the ceiling of the gymnasium where it took place. WOW! Mitchell and I watched in awe. We were spellbound. It came to a point in the show when the performers came to the bleachers and selected kids to come down and be a part of the show... Suzanne Shermak held Mitchell up for them to see. So of course they asked him to come down! Here he is, living in the moment, enjoying it for all that it was worth!

To make the day ~even~ better, Grammy met us at the house for our now routine Friday dinner. While she was with us, Mitchell lost a 2nd tooth!!!!!!! Now there is an extra large gap in the front of his smile. The tooth fairy made another visit last night to collect that beauty.

Today, Jen and her daughter Carly came over for some "Lucy Therapy". They got the bonus of Mitchell as well. While they stayed at home with those two, Ken and I took Owen for some solo skiing time. It was a gorgeous day again... perfect to get our little man out on the "big bumps" as Owen said. Owen was very much interested in the ski patrol's snowmobile.

He liked the skiing and did very well, but was mainly interested in the chairlift. I think he only skied down in order to ride up again.

These past few days will be hard acts to follow for sure!
