Last Wednesday, my Aunt Amy came up from Illinois to help us once again. (She gave us countless hours of help when we were building this house, by staining, painting, and lots of other odd jobs we stuck her with.) This time she was working on painting Lucy's room as well as the other side of the office wall. She also brought fabrics for me to finish Lucy's quilt.
She started at 1:47 pm Wednesday afternoon and by before 5pm had a first coat on Lucy's room. WOW! Inspired by her hard work, I put in some time and made much progress on her quilt. Here is what it looks like now.
I am hoping to do a little accent work with paint here this week using the yellow and purple from the quilt. We shall see if that happens or not.
